Although decision-makers in the industrial and electric utility markets are no strangers to regulatory and industry uncertainty, that doesn't change the fact that planning for the future sometimes feels impossible when there are so many moving-target variables to consider. The best way to address long-term uncertainty is through the use of scenario planning: creating several alternate "stories" about what might happen and the most appropriate responses in each case.
Scenario planning enables you to construct plausible solutions to problems created by fluctuating or vague variables. That approach, applied to the topic of proposed Boiler MACT rules, is the focus of this workshop--adding a valuable tool to your arsenal when you return to work and the real-world challenge of making confident decisions in an uncertain market.
This special, interactive learning event is designed to help owners create a viable roadmap for achieving compliance with air pollution control regulations, starting with testing baseline conditions. You'll gain practical, high level insights into what compliance means in the short term and in the long term.
Combustion and air pollution control experts from Neundorfer Particulate Knowledge, Storm Technologies, United Dynamics Corporation, David N. French Metallurgists and Paragon Airheater Technologies will be presenting sessions on the interconnections among optimization process variables, energy optimization assessments, scenario planning, choosing the best options, and creating an achievable compliance plan.
$1,250 per person ($1,125 before October 19). This includes registration, materials, refreshments, evening event on November 9, and lunch each day.
