Discharge Electrode Systems
Neundorfer installs or upgrades most types of electrode system components for electrostatic precipitators, including weighted wires, upper and lower high voltage wire frames, terminations, insulators and rigid or semi-rigid discharge electrodes. Neundorfer selects sizes, shapes, materials and technologies to fit each ESP perfectly. When energized by a high voltage source, discharge electrodes provide the corona current necessary to properly charge dust particles for highly efficient dust collection.
Weighted Wires
Many electrostatic precipitators use reliable, easy-to-replace weighted wires for their discharge electrodes. Weighted wire discharge electrodes are less easily damaged by high-temperature excursions than rigid electrodes. Proper selection of wire material, length and terminations are necessary for optimal performance.
